2nd Barcelona String Quartet Biennale

From 17 to 20 September 2020, L’Auditori Barcelona opened the 20-21 season with the first International Quartet Biennale, a Cuarteto Casals initiative co-curated with L’Auditori and sponsored by the Department of Culture and Barcelona Provincial Council in collaboration with the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC), the Ramon Llull Institute and the L’Atlàntida performing arts centre in Vic. Over the four days, 20 works for string quartet were performed by Cuarteto Casals and other ensembles: the Marmen, Diotima, Cosmos, Dalia and Modigliani quartets.
